Orthodontics Is For Everyone
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends children to receive an orthodontic exam by the age of seven. With many patients, "early treatment" can utilize growth stages to obtain treatment results that may be simplified or may not be possibly once the growth phase is completed.
Full orthodontic treatment is usually begun when all or most of the permanent teeth are in place, generally between the ages of eleven and thirteen. However, many adults are discovering it's never too late to enjoy the benefits of a healthy, beautiful smile. Thus, a lot of patients begin orthodontic treatment is their 40's or 50's.
